This action is now closed but with your help, 514 were sent to the officials responsible for releasing BC’s first Coastal Marine Strategy!

This was a historic announcement for BC, as the strategy is the first of its kind in our province.

Starting in 2020, the province co-developed a Coastal Marine Strategy with First Nations. They collected feedback from people across BC and consulted stakeholders from different marine sectors. This strategy was made in BC for BC!

We met with Kelly Greene, Parliamentary Secretary for Fisheries and Aquaculture and delivered over 400 postcards on your behalf.

Rollout of BC’s first Coastal Marine Strategy is set to begin in 2024! Implementation details have been vague, so your help has been critical in avoiding a disappointing delay or downgrade.

We’re now eagerly awaiting the next steps on BC’s first Coastal Marine Strategy.
